SFSC Helps Cut the Ribbon at U.N. Plaza Skate Park

The San Francisco Skate Club had the incredible honor of helping to unveil the city's new U.N. Plaza skate park in downtown San Francisco, CA. SFSC's Founder, Shawn Connolly, spoke about the importance of this space during the ribbon cutting ceremony. Read his speech below.

 

Thank you to our friend Jim Theibaud for plugging us in and facilitating our involvement. EduSkate alumni and staff member, Rye Tewksbury, got to skate the inaugural session at the new park while being supported by other EduSkate alumni and community members.
